A strong line of storms where coming in midday with an associated cold front. I went to a high vantage point and waited to get "the shot." I was near the base of New York State's oldest wind generation site with a fantastic view towards the Northeast. Well the shot never came. So later in the day I thought what can I do for a decent shot for today? I thought I could go up to the State Lands and find something interesting. I shot a few fall color / winding road scenes, but nothing was great. Then I came to this fog and the trees.
